Chaithanya Social Service Society , founded in 2000 has been instrumental in the hands of God in providing shelter, food and protection to those poor old aged parents who abandoned by their Children are as birds of the sky. This institution which was opened in a rented house with an attendance of thirty inmates in Cherupuzha in Kannur district of Kerala state was rechristened as Achankilikkudu (Nest for fathers) and shifted to a place called Pulingom. God also allowed this society headed by Rev. Davasia Mullakara to open another old age home for more than sixty old women who were having so many diseases. A dedicated team comprising of Rev. Devasia Mullakara, his family and other servants of God under the leadership of Pr. Abraham K.J. are always render their help for the service of these people. Two old age homes–one for women and one for men– a super specialty hospital and a free ambulance service are run under the aegis of the society
